Biography

Anne Gillot, flutist and clarinettist, is a member of the Lausanne-based baBel and Bouloris 5 ensembles, of the Geneva-based Vortex ensemble, and, together with the saxophonist Laurent Estoppey, of the 1+1 duo. She specialises in playing the Paetzold recorder, a square [not sure if shape ok, or if it refers to something more technical] [double?] bass recorder, extending its potential by amplifying the sound thanks to sensors attached to it. She also performs on stage due to her interest in the different forms music takes  in theatre [l'ho girata, non so se va bene, volevo tenere il senso]. She is a member of the SST theatrical group directed by Dorian Rossel. In parallel to her activities in music, Anne Gillot is a contemporary music specialist at the Radio Télévision Suisse for the Espace 2 culture channel, where she presents and produces the weekly «Musique d’avenir» program.
