Subtle film-score composer
Peter Scherer, who was born in Zurich in 1953, is a leading light of Swiss film music. From 1980 onwards he worked in New York as a keyboard player, arranger and producer for musicians such as David Byrne, John Zorn and Laurie Anderson (“Strange Angels”) and in the duo Ambitious Lovers with Arto Lindsay.
